Emmanuel Letouzé is currently a PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, studying demography and economics. Until recently, he worked for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in New York where he was a member of the Human Development Office Research Team (2008-2009), a policy specialist on post-conflict economic recovery (2007-2008) and on fiscal policy issues (2006-2007). From 2000 to 2004 he worked in Vietnam for the French Ministry of Finance's Technical Assistance Agency and in Haiti as a Junior Professional Officer with the UN system. At Sciences Po, he received the Diplôme (1999) and an MA in Economic Demography (2000). As a Fulbright Scholar, he received an MA in International Affairs/Economic Development from Columbia University (2006). He is also a freelance political cartoonist, currently working on 2 books of comics taking place in NYC.
